NICK OFFERMAN From the Theatre School at the University of Illinois, Mr. Offerman had the strange good fortune to tour Japan and some of Eastern Europe with a traditional Kabuki company helmed by Sozo Sato. Offerman then worked in Chicago for some years, co-founding the Defiant Theatre, and appearing at many others, like Steppenwolf, the Goodman, Wisdom Bridge, Shakespeare Rep. and Pegasus Players. He not only acted in plays, he also built sets, props, puppets and masks, and choreographed fights at most of these joints. After arriving in L.A. in 1997, he has continued to work in theatre, primarily at the Evidence Room, where he's appeared in five plays in the last few years: THE BERLIN CIRCLE, SAVED, DON CARLOS, HOT PROPERTY, and MAYHEM. Recent films include: NOVEMBER, CURSED and MISS CONGENIALITY 2. On TV he is recurring on ABC's GEORGE LOPEZ, as Randy, and appears this year on DEADWOOD, MIX IT UP, KING OF QUEENS, NYPD BLUE and GILMORE GIRLS. Nick also builds old-school wooden furniture, and has begun to experiment with boats.
