has performed in Evidence Room shows MESSALINA, THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH, CRINGE, DELIRIUM PALACE, PENTECOST, THREE DAYS OF RAIN, SAVED, THE IMPERIALISTS AT THE CLUB CAVE CANEM, and THE BERLIN CIRCLE. Leo graduated from Yale with a degree in Theater Studies, then went to New York to help found the acclaimed Elevator Repair Service theater company÷called ãthe best young performance group in townä by the VILLAGE VOICE and ãone of the best new theater companies of the decadeä by INTHEATER magazine. With ERS and other companies heâs toured Berlin, Munich, Moscow, Brussels, Amsterdam, Salzburg, Ljubljana (Slovenia) and elsewhere in Europe. Heâs worked in New York at Playwrights Horizons, the American Place Theater, P.S.122, La Mama, Here, the Ohio, the Flea, and regionally at South Coast Rep, the Yale Rep, the Williamstown Theater Festival, and Actors Theater of Louisville, among others. He toured the East Coast and Midwest playing and screaming the lead in Sander Hicksâ punk-rock musical SEALOVE, MANAGER. He has worked at the Taperâs New Works Festival and the Ojai Playwrights Festival. Heâs done many tiny films, and TV shows like SIX FEET UNDER, NYPD BLUE, THE PRACTICE, LAW AND ORDER, HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREETS, FRASIER, THE GILMORE GIRLS, ITâS ALL RELATIVE, and a stint on ALL MY CHILDREN playing a lab technician/vindictive stalker. He has also helped run a successful political campaign, designed and built web-sites for Human Rights Watch and other advocacy groups, written book reviews and short stories, run the Boston Marathon, and played some fine Ultimate Frisbee.
